Payman Maadi to Serve as Jury Member at the 2025 Marrakech Film Festival

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Payman Maadi, actor of A Separation and Just 6.5, will be one of the jury members of the 2025 Marrakech Film Festival.
Other members of the jury include Jenna Ortega (star of Wednesday), Anya Taylor-Joy (from Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga), Celine Song (director of Past Lives), Brazilian filmmaker Karim Aïnouz, Moroccan director Hakim Belabbes, and French Palme d’Or winner Julia Ducournau (for Titane). The jury will be chaired by Bong Joon Ho, director of Parasite.
The 22nd edition of the festival will open on November 28 with the screening of Dead Man’s Wire, directed by Gus Van Sant, and will run until December 6.
Other films set to screen this year include Frankenstein directed by Guillermo del Toro, Hamnet by Chloé Zhao, My Father’s Shadow, Palestine 36, The President’s Cake, and The Voice of Hind Rajab, produced by Joaquin Phoenix and Brad Pitt.
